History
Charbonneau Bakery, operated under the name "Boulangerie Charbonneau inc.", was founded in the Province of Quebec in 1992 by Pierre Charbonneau. Over the past 25 years, Charbonneau Bakery has become a North American family business with a range of organic products certified by OCQV. The company, located in Sainte-Julie, is proud to distribute its products throughout Quebec.

At the beginning, the Meule de Pierre brand was adopted. This brand and logo were chosen to depict that stone ground flour, "farine moulue sur Pierre" in french, is used. It also left the mark of the founder's first name, Pierre.
On the occasion of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Charbonneau Bakery, the brand and logo were changed to celebrate the quarter of a century anniversary while refreshing the brand to nowadays' aesthetics. The chosen brand is simply Charbonneau to show the simplicity and quality of the products highlighting the family-owned aspect of the company.
